2025 Arm & Hammer Rocket Day
DDK Productions was honored to be asked again to help support in collaboration with ARM & HAMMER Baking Soda, the inaugural Baking Soda Rocket Day: Launch Across America, which took place on October 9, 2025. In coordination with the final day of World Space Week, the goal of this day is to ignite curiosity and enthusiasm for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) among students nationwide by breaking the record for the most baking soda bottle rockets launched ever in one day. Baking soda rocket launches took place at P.S. 127 Aerospace Science Magnet School in Queens, Paul Robeson Elementary School in New Jersey, Herrera Elementary School in Houston and in many underserved schools nationwide. DDK Productions produced events in Queens, New Jersey, and Houston including producing all the onsite signage, coordinating all rocket launching, provided full-scale production (sound, video board, lighting) for Emily Calandrelli’s (Emily the Space Gal) presentation in Queens and for the Space Center Houston presentation in Houston. This was an absolute thrill to be a part of and every kid who attended was treated to an experience of a lifetime.
