Arm & Hammer / OxiClean, 2023 Major League Baseball All-Star Game Activations-Seattle, WA

As part of Church & Dwight’s continued sponsorship with MLB as “The Official Laundry Detergent and Stain Remover of MLB,” and as Proud Sponsors of MLB, C&D continued their partnership activation into its 10th year at the 2023 Major League Baseball All-Star Game in Seattle, WA this past July. DDK Productions produced & managed the on-site activations which were held both inside and outside at MLB Play Ball Park & Lumen Field. In addition, Church & Dwight invited key customers and prospects as guests to the Home Run Derby & the All-Star game held at T-Mobile Park. Guests were entertained with pre and post private events each night that included Q&A with legends Bret Boone and Tino Martinez.

The activations were brought to life in several different ways, as baseball fans engaged with the Arm & Hammer and OxiClean brands through interactive games including taking a picture with the World’s Largest Tub of OxiClean, testing your strength at the Arm & Hammer Striker Game and spinning for prizes at the Spin Wheel, talent appearances by Jennie Finch and OxiClean spokesman Anthony “Sully” Sullivan along with free product giveaways and fun photo opportunities.

Executed Services

  • Play Ball Park (Inside): Created a fun, engaging experience for all MLB fans to enjoy for five days inside the Lumen Field Event Center. Our space had multiple touch points and fun experiences including fans taking pictures with the world’s largest tub of OxiClean! Fans also got to show their flex by striking our 2 Hi Striker Games. One for adults and one for kids. There was also our spin wheel game where fans spin to win great prizing including rally towels, sunglasses, clear stadium bags and Fanatics gift cards. Throughout the days of the activation’s fans got to meet and take a photo in the bubble pit with OxiClean legendary pitchman Anthony “Sully” Sullivan. Fans were given a complimentary, autographed mini tub of OxiClean from Sully. Fans were encouraged to share their photos using the hashtags #MyOxiClean & #GiveItTheHammer. All guests to our space received complimentary product samples of Arm & Hammer and OxiClean. Our MC Chris interacted with fans and kept the excitement up all day long!

  • Play Ball Park (Outside): We brought our fast pitch cages outside to this location where fans got to try for their highest velocity speed. On the Arm & Hammer side fans got to meet “the face of Arm & Hammer” United States Gold-medal winning Olympian Jennie Finch.

Activation Details

  • Ideate and execute full-scale event production at various activations footprints throughout All- Star Week.

  • Procure, negotiate and manage onsite emcee, brand ambassadors, fabrication of branded signage.

  • Spearhead all premium & product sampling distribution.

  • Manage all C&D guest hospitality elements including hotel & transportation.

  • Host, plan and execute all hospitality events.

  • Source and negotiate with venues for all event details.

  • Create all programming for fan engagement, emcee scripting at activation footprints and host Q&A’s with talent.
